Web-developer

We are looking for a web developer to join our team. Your job would be to design and implement web apps and services using Grails, jQuery and MySQL. Here’s a list of helpful characteristics we would like to see in you:

  • 2 or more years of work experience in software development
  • Competence in HTML5-, CSS-, JavaScript-, Ajax-, Java- and MySQL-technologies
  • Intelligence with webs frameworks, such as Grails, Joomla, Drupal, Rails or Django
  • UI-design experience
  • Drive to make elegant and unified solutions with simplicity
  • Fluent Finnish and English
  • Ability to work independently and as part of the team

We also appreciate one or more of the following:

  • Interest to aim to work in project management and advisory duties
  • Experience in server management and maintenance (Linux, RHEL/CentOS)
  • Chinese language skills

Project Manager

Your duties and appreciated characteristics:

  • You are responsible of managing daily development activities in client projects
  • Communication with client product/project owner during initial development, follow-up and maintenance phases
  • Resource planning and budgeting
  • Monitoring the quality of development, documentation, communication and other interaction.
  • You understand the business models and logic of the customers online solutions that we are providing to ensure that we are fulfilling the business needs.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure of sometimes tight schedules and service promises
  • Fluent Finnish and English (other languages such as Chinese is a bonus)
  • Experience in software/web development project managing with large multinational companies and in multicultural environments

Test Engineer

Your duties and appreciated characteristics:

  • You are responsible of testing our systems and solutions
  • You understand system requirements and develop and execute test cases against them
  • Analysing, reporting, prioritizing and tracking bugs
  • Design, build and run automated test scripts for functional testing, stress testing and performance & scalability testing
  • Ability and willingness to document system functionalities and write client instructions both Finnish and English
  • Suitable education e.g. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in software quality assurance environment
  • Understanding and experience in testing high capacity multifunctional web systems, preferably e-Commerce/e-Store solutions
  • Knowledge of some open source test tools
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a multitasking environment
  • Interest and experience in planning and executing training sessions for clients is a bonus
